strongly recommended that this oil pan kit is installed by an experienced tuning shop or mechanic. Your
Cosworth oil control baffle is intended for light duty motorsports such as club racing, time trials, and track
days.
Please take a few minutes to inspect the baffle kit for any missing parts or sign of damage from shipping.
1. When working under the chassis, use a car lift or an approved jack stands and safety equipment
when installing the Cosworth oil pan kit.
2. Please refer to the factory service manual when removing the oil pan.
3. The Cosworth baffle control baffle is designed to be installed without the OEM windage tray.
4. Place the baffle plate with the rubber flaps facing towards the oil pan. Make sure that the upright
plates are not touching the engine block.
5. Install the breather tube gasket.
6. Please refer to the factory service manual for reinstall of the oil pan. (Pictured: Cosworth large
capacity oil pan, not included with this kit. p/n 20001238)
